This series of games combines the thrill of cash poker tournaments with the season style game of Texas Hold 'em. Our Top Gun series allows you to play for nightly cash prizes as well as earn points to qualify for the end of season Top Gun Final. Here the 64 highest scoring players will battle it out for the title of poker's Top Gun as well as a plane load full of cash!
This series is a 13 week tournament of Texas Hold 'em buy-in poker games, with entry fees starting from $11.00. These games are designed for players who are ready to step up and test their skill against some of the best poker players around. Every Top Gun game is different in the amount of chips you play with and the number of rebuys and add-ons allowed, giving you more options on the format of game you choose. For our Top Gun series, we offer 2 quarterly finals;
Every Top Gun game you play, you have the chance to win a ticket into our Top Gun Gold final. It is awarded to the person who finishes first place on the day. If this person has already obtained a ticket for the current season, it will then be awarded to the highest place finisher who does not already have a ticket. This means, anyone can win a ticket into this final, just by playing one Top Gun Game. For more information on this final, go to our TGG Page.
The Top Gun 64 is our big final for the best of the best. It consists of the best 64 players of each season playing off for a prize pool totalling $20,000. Even though there are only 64 players, we still pay the whole final table of 8 players a piece of the cash. At Poker Challenge, we pride ourselves on providing an amazing value final for our Top Gun series and this game is the result.
| How to play in the Top Gun 64 |
Every Top Gun Game you play, you are rewarded points for the position in which you finish. The higher you finish the more points. To keep track of these points, we have a Top Gun Leader board at the start of this page. Over the 13 weeks in which the seasons run, players accumulate points by playing games and once the season has been completed, we invite the highest placed 64 players on the leader board to this invite only game where they play off for the $20,000 prize pool.
Season IV 2009 of the Top Gun 64 is taking place on Saturday 13th February 2010 at Rydges Hotel, 116, James Ruse Dr, Rosehill. Please make sure you have given your tournament director your correct contact details so we can get in touch with you via sms or email should you qualify.
